 This is part 1 of a few videos on the KrakenSDR. Here I explain what is needed, and how to set up the Kraken before going on a Direction Finding mission. I needed to add multiple items to the kit that arrived, and there was some set up to do. Join me as I explore what is involved in getting the Kraken up and running.

This video shows us putting the newly released KrakenSDR to the test. We wanted to find the location of a DMR trunked network in order to determine the user.The Kraken amazed us by how quickly it was able to locate the transmitter site in this first test. We were so impressed, we decided to go out and search for a P25 transmitter site in Test 2. This 5 channel coherent SDR is simply amazing. Highly recommended for any DF enthusiasts, or as additional equipment for your Amateur Radio club.
